JEFF BRIDGES
One of Hollywood’s most successful actors and frequent Academy Award® nominee, Jeff Bridges garnered his first Oscar® for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Crazy Heart—as Bad Blake, a down-on-his-luck, alcoholic country music singer. Since earning his initial Oscar nomination in 1971 for The Last Picture Show, he has been honored with seven nominations, most recently for Hell or High Water (2016).
In a career spanning nearly 50 years, he has appeared in more than 70 films, among them Seabiscuit, The Big Lebowski, True Grit, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Starman, and most recently, Bad Times at the El Royale.
SUSAN BRIDGES
Susan Bridges is an accomplished photographer, artist and philanthropist who has spent her life championing many worthy causes and is the wife and partner of actor Jeff Bridges. A native of the Midwest, Susan attended the University of Minnesota and University of Montana and in 1974 moved to Los Angeles to begin a new chapter in her life.
Susan attended the ArtCenter College of Design and the California Institute of the Arts to explore the art of photography. She also studied with prolific photographer Lisette Model in New York City where she honed her skills in street or “candid” photography.
MARWAN EL MOZAYEN
Marwan El Mozayen is the Editor-in-Chief of SilvergrainClassics, the international print magazine devoted to analog photography and cinematography. A photographer and lifelong enthusiast of mechanical cameras, he has long been active in supporting film photography through publishing, education, and industry collaboration.
He leads workshops for the Silvergrain Studio, Leica headquarters in Germany, and events around the world. In addition to his work in publishing and photography, he enjoys restoring classic cameras and vintage Volvo automobiles.
CHARYS SCHULER
Charys Schuler is the Developmental Editor of SilvergrainClassics and a violinist with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony and several chamber ensembles. Her work in music and publishing reflects a longstanding commitment to precision, discipline, and creative collaboration.
She has built close relationships with artists and photographers around the world and is a familiar presence within the international analog photography community. She is also an active supporter of charities dedicated to children’s cancer research.
